Urban Adamah & COVID-19 Updates…

Winter SPROUTS Camp

Sadly due to COVID-19, we will not be running camp this winter. However, we are running a winter After School Program. We hope to see you on the farm for winter or summer camp next year in 2021!

Who says farm camp is only for summer?

Enjoy all seasons of the farm during our cozy winter camp! This winter, we’ll celebrate Hannukkah and the New Year together in community through crafting, playing, cooking our fall harvest, exploring the farm, and getting creative. Campers that are in preschool and/or kindergarten will experience the miracles of Hannukkah by transforming our very own farm materials into delicious and useful Hannukkah ritual objects.

What Happens At Winter Camp?

Campers enjoy their day in project-based explorations that integrate the natural elements on the farm from shomrei adamah farm activities while exploring what it means to be part of a kehillah, community.

This winter campers will experience the eco-connections of Hannukkah through fun and tasty activities. Throughout the week, campers will sing Hannukkah related songs, participate in an interactive retelling of the Hannukkah story, create their own beeswax Hannukkah candles, bike blend their own latkes and apple sauce, and so much more. Campers will be divided into age-based groups.
