Spring Camp

Watch our crops bloom as we transition into the beautiful spring season here on the farm! Get a taste of spring on the farm while experiencing favorite Urban Adamah activities. Campers enjoy their day in project-based explorations that integrate the natural elements as we cook with fire, turn old crop parts into art, and create new life by seeding in the greenhouse. With Jewish teachings and stories guiding their experience, Spring Camp introduces campers to Judaism’s deep connections to the natural world, and their creative place in it.

What Happens At Spring Camp?

Our campers spend their days doing shomrei adamah farm activities, feeding the worms and growing soil, seeding in the greenhouse, natural building, nature crafting, and more!

2019 SPRING Camp Dates

Spring Camp runs Wednesday through Friday, from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Campers may arrive beginning at 8:30 am. The After-Camp Program runs from 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm and is available for an additional fee.

Urban Adamah seeks to provide financial assistance to those who cannot afford the full cost of camp. Please note that financial aid awards may vary from year to year, even if the applicant’s financial situation has not changed, based on the total pool of financial aid funds, the relative need of others who apply, and the total number of applicants.

**Please remember that you must register your child for camp using coupon code AidApp2019 in order to hold your space in camp while your application is being considered.**

Applications must be received by March 1st in order to be considered.

We understand that life circumstances sometimes change and that you may need to cancel your child’s registration. All cancellations must be received in writing by email to camp@urbanadamah.org. Cancellations may be subject to a processing fee, more details on registration pages.

Cancellations through February 1: Full refund minus $75 processing fee.

Cancellations after February 1: Fees are only refundable after February 1st in the event of a medical or family emergency that makes attendance impossible.

*There is a 3% non-refundable credit card processing fee.

After Camp Program

$175 for the week

Urban Adamah offers an After-Camp Program extended day option (3–5:30 pm) for all camp weeks. Staffed by our Urban Adamah Camp counselors, After-Camp offers a relaxed farm experience at the end of the camp day. Each day, campers will be provided a snack and will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, games, creative farm projects and quiet-time activities.
