Urban Adamah & COVID-19 Updates…

fellowship FEES

Urban Adamah is trying to make the Fellowship as accessible as possible, regardless of class background. Thanks to our program supporters, we are able to offer the 2021 summer and fall Fellowships for a sliding scale of $950 – $3,600. The Fellowship fee covers food, housing, staff time, and all program-related expenses for the full eleven-week program.

Please note that the actual cost of the Fellowship is roughly $15,000 per Fellow. To cover these costs, close to 85% is raised from foundations and individuals; about 10% comes from farm visitor fees; and the remaining 5% represents what we ask fellows to pay. At the end of the Fellowship, we ask Fellows who are able, to make a financial contribution to the organization to support our ability to run the Fellowship in future seasons. If you are able to pay on the higher end of the sliding scale it is encouraged and makes it possible for everyone to pay what they can.

Urban Adamah is honored to pay the Shuumi Land Tax in support of the Sogorea Te’ Land Trust an Urban Indigenous Women-led Trust in the East Bay. Please note that program costs help us support our program partners.

Upon acceptance, you are asked to pay the full program fee, which is due within two weeks of the date you accept a place in the program. We cannot reserve your place without the program fee. If you need to set up a payment plan, please let us know.

If you cancel for any reason prior to the fellowship, you will receive a full refund.
