HOW TO APPLY
To apply for the Fellowship, please follow steps 1 – 7 below. Apply by either the application deadlines and know that the earlier one applies, the better chance of admission. If an applicant appears to be a good fit for the program, we contact them within two weeks of the application deadline (or sooner) to set up an in-person or video interview.
Request Your Electronic Application
Click on the orange button at the bottom of this page. You will be directed to an application request form. Once we receive your application request, we will email you a link to our online application form.
The information section of the application will take you approximately 20 minutes to complete.
We want to make sure that you have a clear picture of what life is like during the Urban Adamah Fellowship, and what we expect of you during the three months that you will be with us. The Fellowship guidelines cover just about every aspect of how you will spend your days, your schedule, and housing, drug, and alcohol policies. Please read this information carefully and indicate your willingness to comply with these guidelines in the spaces provided in the online application.
Short Answers & Essay
The online application will direct you to a link where you can download the short answer questions and essay. We recommend using Google Docs for all of your additional documents. When applying please open the Short Answer & Essay Questions Google Doc (link will open in a new tab, but just to be safe, you can right click on a PC or control click on a Mac to open in a new tab). You will need to make a copy of the document and change the sharing settings so anyone with the link can view it. Instructions on how to do so are at the top of the document. It is important to test the URL before sharing it below by opening a private / incognito browser window and ensuring it opens there. If it opens there, it means it should be accessible to us.
Upload the most recent version of your resume as 'Your Name - Resume' to the online application.
Your resume must be converted to a PDF and hosted at a URL that is publicly accessible so our team can access them. Common tools to do this are Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. You must make sure that you adjust the access settings so that anyone with the public link can view the file and you must make sure to share the proper URL.
We recommend testing the URL before sharing it below by opening a private / incognito browser window and ensuring it opens there. If it opens there, it means it should be accessible to us.
Submit Online Application
When you click submit your online application form, you will receive all further instruction via the email address you provided.
Obtain Two References
You will be emailed a link and unique code to share with two references who you will ask to fill out the reference form on your behalf. References should be people who have supervised you as an employee (strongly preferred), student, or volunteer. References from family members, family friends, and peers will not be accepted. References are confidential and will not be shared with the applicant.
Applications will only be considered complete once the two references are submitted. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
The entire application process takes place through our online form. We will consider your application only after all parts have been submitted. Please review the following checklist and application steps carefully.
