Tu b’Shvat 5781 At Home Ritual Guide

Thursday, January 21, 2021
12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Tu b’Shvat celebrates and honors the rebirth and continued growth of the trees. Sometimes this day is referred to as the birthday (or new year) for the trees. In the 16th century, the Kabbalistic School of Yitzhak Luria instituted a mystical feast of fruits on this day to connect the physical and spiritual world through a Seder, a ritual feast. They created a ritual guide titled Pri Etz Hadar, “Fruit of the Majestic Tree” filled with spiritual teachings on the specific order to eat and bless fruits for this holiday.

Urban Adamah has adapted the Pri Etz Hadar for you! Inside you’ll find blessings, teachings, prompts, stories, and recipes to guide your very own Tu B’Shvat seder at home.
