Sprouts Family Day: A New Year for the Trees

Sunday, January 13, 2019
7:00 am - 9:00 am

The farm is asleep, but the sap is rising in the trees telling us it is time to celebrate Tu B’Shevat . Together we will explore the gifts that trees give us, and how we can look after them. Come to the farm for a cozy morning of farm activities and taking care of our animal friends.

Join us for a magical journey of discovery, play and exploration on our farm. The veggies, the animals, the soil, the songs, the stories and the games – it’s the best of Sprouts summer camp all in one morning! Bring your family down to the farm for an amazing morning and picnic lunch with other families and the Urban Adamah educators.

From 10:00 – 11:30 am we’ll gather and explore the farm. At 11:30 am we’ll settle in the shade and eat lunch as a community (bring your own)! For families with children 3-5 years old. If you’ve got a toddler, feel free to bring them along and explore the farm at your own pace.

The ticket price for Sprouts Family Days are on a sliding scale of $18 – $36 per family.  Space is limited and participants should register in advance to guarantee a space in the program. If this ticket price is prohibitive to you and your family, please email anika@urbanadamah.org for a further discount code. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Presented in partnership with Sprout East Bay and PJ Library East Bay.
