80’s Dance Party & Havdalah Bonfire

Saturday, March 2, 2019
5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

They are all coming back to the farm, for one magical night: Madonna, Prince, Billy Idol, Toto (yeah, we’re serious). Put on your party shoes, people. You bring your moves. We’ll bring the wine coolers, Pop Rocks and Watchamacallits. And, when we’re so tired from dancing we can hardly breathe, we’ll pause to celebrate Havdalah, the great ritual that marks the separation between shabbat and the week, the holy and the mundane, and the musical decade of the 80’s from all others before and after.

Drinks will be provided and please bring your favorite 80’s themed dessert or snack to share. This event is FREE in advance and $10 at the door. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. If you have any questions about the event, please email events@urbanadamah.org.

Host Committee: Adam Berman, Adam Weisberg, Adrienne Leder-Schriner, Aliza Rothman Labowitz, Sue Bojdak, Dana Sheanin, Uriel Wolf-Blank, Lauren Halperin, Deborah Newbrun, Dorothy Richman, & Sue Reinhold.

Accessibility: The party will be held in our ADA accessible and heated tent. We have one accessible parking spot in our lot, however please leave time to find street parking if needed, as our lot fills up quickly. Please do not leave anything visible in your cars and make sure to lock up your bikes. FM receivers are available for those hard of hearing.
